Herbs and Soaps

Well after more than a month of partying with vacationing grandkids I'm way behind on orders and projects. So simultaneously crocheting angora scarves with matching leg warmers while filling herbal bath tea bags while making soap and drying roses and lavendar and fresh picked bay leaves and weeding the garden.

Two batches of soap went bluey which means I have enough for the house all year but not for sale. Not sure what happened quite. It was only the soap with olive oil mixed with coconut.  But more soap turned out and is curing.

I like pure olive better anyway. I did find a great olive oil cold pressed in Dixon,Ca yesterday and its certified organic. So now the soap will be made with all northern California ingredients including Mt. Shasta spring water which is the most popular bottled water in the world and with good reason. Now I'm trying a recipe from the Sierra Club. How California is that? My soap itself will be cleaner than clean 😅Housework you say? Um...not today. But the house smells good.
