I've begun now using red eri silk and gold muga with the angora. Excited to find how they may add sparkle to the yarn.
Both of these silks are shown in natural colors. These are not dyed. I ordered these from Ellen at Fiber Curios and Sundries in Iowa.
I have not yet decided whether to blend or just add threads to each batt of angora.
Origins of silks described below.

About the silks from wikipedia:
Muga silk is a variety of wild silk geographically tagged to the state of Assam in India. The silk is known for its extreme durability and has a natural yellowish-golden tint with a shimmering, glossy texture. It was previously reserved for the use of royalty.
Eri Silk (also from Wikipedia)
Eri silk comes from the caterpillar of Samia ricini, found in Assam and nearby regions as well as in some parts of China and Japan. It was imported to Thailand in 1974. The name "eri" is derived from the Assamese word "era", which means "castor", as the silkworm feeds on castor plants.
